Our Story

Mike Palumbo, our founder, and CEO, has spent over 27 years working with industrial production equipment, specializing in the aluminum, plastics, and steel industries. After years of installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing these complex machines—Mike saw an opportunity. In 2008, with the support of his wife Lisa, daughter Mary and son Matt, he launched L&M Diversified, LLC. From day one, the company stood out by offering great service, project management, and a commitment to doing things right and standing behind their work. That attention to detail quickly earned L&M Diversified a solid reputation across the U.S.

Fast forward to 2016, Mike took another leap and started L&M Processing, LLC, a metal processing facility in Twinsburg, Ohio, offering services such as slitting, cut-to-length, strip polishing and PVC application. As the business grew, it became clear they needed more space and wanted to be closer to their hometown of Brookfield, Ohio. So, in 2019, they moved operations to a large facility in Masury, Ohio, setting the stage for even bigger things.

And 2024 was that next big step. L&M Processing completed the construction of a brand-new, 15,000 sqft building to expand its capabilities even further. The building was designed to add on additional space in the near future, up to 75,000 sqft. This facility is a game-changer, equipped with a .250″ x 60″ x 45,000# slitter that can handle large coils with ease. It’s also home to a 25-ton crane, 40′ looping pit and a 4-horn kick-off horn / banding line to make the packaging process more efficient. On top of that, the new facility features a pull-through bay and back up dock that makes logistics smoother and quicker.

Even with all this growth, L&M Processing is still a family-owned and operated business. Located just off OH-82 and US-62 in Masury, Ohio, we remain committed to delivering fast, friendly service at a fair price, we look forward to helping with your processing needs.
